Off-season Golfing Rules

REMINDER: Being able to play our course at this time of year is quite a bonus, however, not having the Pro-shop open does create some unique issues. One of those issues is inappropriate play by “House” or non-members. When the golf course is open for play at this time of year, the same restrictions on play are in effect as at any time during the season. Namely, members with golfing memberships in good standing are allowed to play at no charge. Non-members and members with “House” classifications are only allowed to play as guests of golfing members. (Please keep in mind that the OCC membership year is from November 1 through October 31. Members who have submitted resignations or converted from golfing to non-golfing memberships effective November 1 are no longer considered golfing members.) Guest green fees should be paid by notifying Mary at the Club office. She will then add the appropriate charges to the member’s account and track play. (REMEMBER, free greens fees earned through early payment of 2007 dues expired on October 31.) As always, guests who live within a fifty mile radius are only allowed to play OCC three times in a calendar year.

Please help protect the integrity of our Club, and minimize embarrassment, by observing these rules.

Thank you,

Oswego CC Board of Directors
