Many, many thanks to all who contributed and participated in this year’s Rally for the Cure Closest to the Pin contest. With your help we raised $1460.00, a new record for OCC !

A special thank you to the Wednesday morning league who donated $180.00 in proceeds from their 50/50 raffle. Paula Guido won a Cleveland Golf bag with her drive 3’ 9 1/2” from the pin, Judy Lester won an Adams 5 wood with her shot of 11’ 3”. Congratulations ladies and once again, thank you to all participants for your contribution- you are helping to make a difference in this very important cause!

The Junior League at Oswego CC will be cancelled Monday morning (Aug.2) due to the preparation of the Eric Cole Tournament. Clinic WILL BE HELD on Thursday, and the League will resume next Monday, August 9th.

Here’s your chance to get rid of those issues plaguing your game! The Golf Staff will hold a Men’s Clinic on Thursday August 5 at 6 PM at the OCC Driving Range. This session will focus on your Full Swing fundamentals.

Men’s Member-Guest is August 13-15. This is the perfect opportunity to put the finis…hing touches on your game so you can bring that victory home! In addition, you are welcome to invite your guest participant for Member-Guest to the clinic with you. Please call the Pro Shop in advance to sign up. Cost for the clinic is $20.

The weekly Ladies’ Clinic is coming to a close and we urge everyone to take advantage of the professional instruction available to them at OCC. At 6 PM on Wednesday July 21, we will be offering Full-Swing instruction at the driving range. Bring all your clubs and we’ll help you with your dr…iver, fairway woods, hybrids, or irons.

At 6 PM on Wednesday July 28, we will be offering any interested ladies On-Course Instruction to help you with your game management and how to hit from those uneven lies, fairway bunkers, and trouble shots.

Please call the Pro Shop to sign up for the July 28 session so that we may properly staff this session for you. Cost for each session is $20. It should be a great time for everyone!
