They will be: January, February, and March 343-4664 office phone The new 2010 Board of Directors was selected at the Club’s Annual Meeting on Sunday, November 15th. President- Jack Conners, 1st VP- Dave Lloyd, 2nd VP-Nick DellaPenna, Recording secretary- Ed Fayette, and Treasurer- Joe Doviak. New Board members- Jim Patka, Dennis McDermott, Paul Kunzwiler, Gail Greenwood, and John Stevens. First and foremost on behalf of the entire Golf Staff, thank you to all for a great 2009 golf season. With your continued support of the Oswego Country Club Tournament schedule, demo days, and shop sales we persevered a less the perfect golf season of weather. It is our goal for the 2010 season to move the bar even a few steps higher in overall services from our staff in the Pro Shop. We would also like to thank Mr. Chris Carpenter working hand in hand with us to provide excellent food service for every event, Mr. Scott Peters and staff for giving us a golf course that is second to none in quality for all of us to be a part of, and lastly the Golf Committee and Board of Directors for there continued support and innovative ways of providing all members with a great opportunity to be part of Oswego Country Club.
We will be available the weekend of December 11th, 12th, and 13th for your Holiday Shopping needs. Our store hours on Friday will be 12 PM to 6 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 4 PM, Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM. in the meantime if you have any items that you need for trips south, birthdays, or the holiday season don’t hesitate to contact myself or Will at anytime. We can easily be reached at Abiz4u2@twcny.rr.com or wzw22@aol.com. There may be some teaching availability in this off season as well. We will keep you informed of developing plans for learning as the off season progresses.
We our going to add a direct e - mailer to any interested members of sales, special order opportunities, and demo days for the 2010 season. In order to reach everyone in a no hassle means please send your email address and contact information to wzw22@aol.com. A brief email with the following information would be appreciated; Contact info, member #, and billing address. We may be automating our billing system for the following season and this will enable us to get a head start during the off season as well. This year’s Nominating Committee includes Paul Guido, Craig Bundy, George Gill, and chair Todd Donahue. To date, the following have decided to run for Board of Director seats: Paul Kunzwiler, Dennis McDermott, Tom VanSchaack, John Stevens, Gail Greenwood, Jim Holland, and Jim Patka. Anyone interested in running for an open seat should contact a committee member. Additionally, the position of Treasurer and Recording secretary are elected on an annual basis by the Board, during the officer selection process. Anyone interested in one of these positions should also contact a committee member. Hope to see many at the Annual Meeting on Sunday, November 15th at 3pm. A Cart Card (valued at $100) will be given away to one member present, and a complimentary buffet will follow the meeting. The Oswego CC’s Annual Meeting will take place on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 3pm. A complimentary buffet will be available after the meeting. Those wishing to attend are asked to be present by 2:45pm if possible. The Century Tavern will be open. Like last year, we will be giving away a Cart Discount Card valued at $100. You must be present to win. |
