MICHAEL J. HOGAN, PGA
Head Golf Professional
Oswego Country Club is happy to announce that Michael "Hoagie" Hogan is returning for the 2026 season as the Head Golf Professional.
Hogan, a graduate of Oswego’s Bishop Cunningham High School, has spent the past 18 years as a PGA Golf Professional and management role. Prior to Oswego Country Club he was Head Golf Professional at Battle Island State Park and served as an Assistant Golf Professional at Tuscarora Golf Club, Cazenovia Country Club, and Dutch Hollow Country Club.
For his active role in the Central New York PGA, Hogan was awarded the Bill Strausbaugh Award in 2013, in 2019 Assistant Professional of the Year, and in 2024 CNY PGA Youth Player Development Award for his work at Oswego Country Club and Central New York. The award is given annually to a Golf Professional who has been a proven leader and mentor to other PGA Professionals and the community at large.
Hogan has remained involved in player development during his tenure by offering lessons and clinics not only at Oswego Country Club but throughout Central New York.

Zach Bowden
Assistant Golf Professional
Oswego Country Club is excited to announce and welcome Zach Bowden as the club’s new Assistant Golf Professional.
Zach is an up and coming young golf professional that has vast previous experience at Oak Hill Country Club and The Club at Ibis (two Platinum 150 Clubs of America), as well as Midvale Country Club, Webster Golf Club, Highland Park Golf Club, Eagle Vale Golf Club, and most recently at Canandaigua Country Club. Zach also has vast experiences from directly working for the PGA of America at the 2021, 2022, and 2023 PGA Championships as well as the 2020 Ryder Cup.
Zach is a St. John Fisher 2020 graduate with a degree in Sports Management and is currently through Level 1 of the PGM program with a particular interest in the Teaching & Coaching route. Zach genuinely cares about the improvement of his students and is always continuously learning more about teaching in order to best help his students.
